2024 Longmont Aeromodeler’s Pattern Contest

When: August 24th and 25th. (No rain/snow/wind date) Field dedicated to pattern practice on Friday, Aug 23^rd.

Where: LAMA club field. Dacono, Colorado.

Huge east-west runway with flat horizon!

Entry Fees: $35 entry fee. $10 for Club class or other first time pattern entrants.

Saturday lunch included in entry fee.

If you can only come 1 day, you probably won’t win, but we still want you to fly!

AMA membership required – bring your card!

Events: (please pre-register at www.nsrca.us or email me if you think you'll attend)

• All AMA Pattern classes (Sportsman, Intermediate, Advanced, Masters)

• Club Class (if interest warrants): This will be a Non-Judged class. We will hook you up with a caller/coach for each flight. Give Pattern a try! sequence at www.NSRCA.us

• Masters will fly P25 with judged takeoffs and landings

• FAI will fly:(P25 and F25).

• No EDF this year

Schedule: Registration and practice flights: 7:30 to 8:30AM

Pilot’s Meeting: 8:30

Flying starts: 9:00. Plan for 4 flights on Sat and 2 on Sunday.

Judging: Contestants will be asked to help judge and/or scribe for other classes.

Please be prepared to judge a class higher than you fly.

Club, (some) Sportsman, and first-timers not expected to judge.

Food: Lunch and drinks will be provided Saturday.
