TS Helene is supposed to be parked somewhere over Kentucky for a good part of tomorrow, and her outer bands are going to effect us. In the area of Millstone and 47N (based on Trenton’s TAF), they are calling ceilings of 500’ overcast,  visibility 2 miles, and light rain and increasingly gusty winds from 8 AM thru 2 PM (and not much better after that.)

This was suppose to be a rain-date make-up sessesion on Saturday, September 28th, for our annual contest originally scheduled earlier in 2024.

IMPORTANT UPDATE AS OF  9/12/24:
This event was originally scheduled to be held at the BCAM's Kutztown, PA site. However, recent pattern practice sessions at this site have revealed the sun is getting so low during the day that flying tall maneuvers is already challenging to do.  This sun-location issue is expected to get worse by the end of September.
Joe Lachowski and the Millstone, NJ club flying site has offered BCAM to hold the contest at their site, and BCAM club has accepted.
