Great new location not far from the old Green Sea location! Staples Field is north facing with expansive, manicured Bermuda runway. Plenty of room for camping (no hook ups). We plan to have 6 rounds of Sportsman, Intermediate, Advanced, Masters and FAI.  We will also fly 6 rounds of Classic pattern. Field open for practice on Friday and we will mix in 2 rounds of Classic late in the afternoon.

The flying site is located just off of Staples Rd near Aynor, SC.  Staples Rd is a dirt road and only accessible from Nichols Hwy.  If you use Google Maps and enter the lat/long 34.008925, -79.149268 you should see the intersection of the two roads.  Once you turn on Staples Rd proceed approximately 250 yards.  The road will begin to turn left.  Look for a smaller dirt road that leads off to the right, near a horse fence.  Take this small dirt road another 400 yards and the flying site will be on your left, just past a pond on the right.  You should be able to see this detail if you switch Google Maps to Satellite View and zoom in.
